How To Play

If you're not used to the concept of text adventure games, then this might be quite a shock to the system. The point is that it's all text. All the explosive 3d graphics are in your head. To the right, you will see that the game has loaded. Simply click on the text somewhere, and then you can start typing. How do I make things work? If all you see to the right is a grey box, then you will need to update your JAVA client from here: http://www.java.com It's easy, and pretty much does everything itself. If you can see what's happening, but can't interact with the text, click in the box to give it focus. Now you should be able to do things. What words should I use? Wow. You are new. Here are some key words to assist you... look - To look around. inventory - To see what you're carring. Go - To Go somewhere. Get - To Get something. Examine - To Examine something. eg: Go North eg: Get Apple eg: Examine Duck The best way is to experiment. Most of the commands in this game are expressed with "Verb Item" format and so forth. Get Apple, Run North, Throw Duck, Eat Orange are all examples of valid formats... though experimenting will help find more. Try to avoid punctuation. Can I Save and Load? Most likely not. The original game will let you, but you might not be able to with this version at this time. I would recommend making notes of your progress if you must leave the game before you finish it.
